Cordie Aziz,

Founder & Executive Director

Cordie Aziz is the Founder and Executive Director of Environment360. Ms. Aziz is passionate about creating clean communities by leveraging the informal work force and the strength of the community. Under her leadership, the organization has grown to handle more than GHS 2 million Ghana cedis in projects. She believes in creating indigenous systems to address poor waste management in West Africa. Her passion led her to create the first successful plastic collection scheme for communities in Ghana.

Before starting Environment360, Ms. Aziz worked for the United States Congress on the Committee on Homeland Security. She also served as the Public Relations Director for the NJATC, the largest apprenticeship training program in the United States. She holds a bachelor degree in Mass Communications from Jackson State University and a master degree in Public Administration from Bowie State University, both located in the United States.

Our Story

Environment360 specializes in creating community education campaigns and collection systems that support the work of informal waste workers. We work with value chain stakeholders, private sector and local and national government to create ecosystems that support the growth of circular economies and adoption of sustainable consumption patterns throughout West Africa.
