Human Centered Design:
We design our programs with our communities and not for them. Through tailored training and support, our organization has supported the collection of more than 300 MT of plastic and nearly 400 MT of paper.

Integrated Approach with  Specialist Roles:
We help create a circular economy by working with a variety of stakeholders along the value chain to increase the economic and environmental impact of our programs. Through our collection schemes, we provide better income for waste pickers, high quality materials for recyclers and a cleaner environment for you!

Collection at Source: 80% of    marine litter comes from land based sources, according to the World Bank. Environment360 works with communities to capture recyclable materials      before they make their way into our landfills and oceans.

EARN YOUR MONEY BACK

As a member of Environment360 you can earn .05 GHp for every kg of plastic you recycle with us! Monies are paid out annually. Use your reward towards your next membership fee or donate it back to Environment360.

Note:
Residential pick-ups take place on variable days during the first two weeks of the month. Environment360 recycling team will send an email alerting you of your pick up day. E360 reserves the right to reduce the number of pick-ups for clients that produce less than 20kg of recyclables per pick-up.

HOW YOUR MONEY IS USED

SCHOOL PROGRAMS
Your membership fee helps cover the oversight of school programs and help provide materials such as activity books, awards for teachers and school trainings, as well as fuel needed for tricycles to pick up recyclable materials.

WASTE PICKER SUPPORT
Environment360 supports waste pickers by providing them a variety of tailored training to help them build better businesses. Your membership fees help cover materials for trainings, facilitators and ongoing business support.

GENERAL ADMINISTRATIVE FEES
Did you know Environment360 does not have core funding? As a result, your
membership fees help keep the bills paid and the lights on! Membership fees have
created employment opportunities for 8 young Ghanaian workers.
​
CASH ON HAND TO PURCHASE MATERIALS
Environment360 believes in creating an inclusive environment. In order to help raise the living wages of waste pickers we need cash on hand to readily buy materials from waste pickers. Owing to this, Environment360 needs to keep an estimated GHS 20,000 of cash on hand to freely purchase materials as they are made available from community members.
