Supporting Sustainable, Resilient Cities Through Green Job Skills

Green Schools Academy Lessons Learned Webinar

On the the 6th of October, 2021 at 11 am, Environment360 is presenting, the lessons learned from its Green Schools Academy Program. The Green Schools Academy program ran from February 2020-June 2021 with funding provided by the UNDP Waste Recovery Innovation Challenge Fund, Dow Chemicals and Vivo Energy.

The program trained 23 teachers in Greater Accra to deliver hands on, interactive environmental education to more than 1,000 students through the Accra District Ghana Education Service. The program consists of four modules that helps students, identify waste, gain a better understanding of what happens to waste they create, discusses the differences between a circular and linear economy as well as provides interactive lessons for students.
