Environment360 has the following internship positions available. All internships come with a transportation allowance and certificate of completion, opportunities to network and learn new skills. Our Environment: Environment360 is a fast growing NGO who is seeking innovators and community changers to intern. If you are a quick learner, have an outgoing personality, proven ability to solve issues and comfortable being a leader we encourage you to apply. We appreciate diverse talents and backgrounds and are looking for individuals that can work well in dynamic, fast paced teams. Every day is an adventure when you come to the office or go to field for assignment. Also, we do work in waste, so your work may not always be clean.
Office Administrator/Accounts Officer 6 months (Head Office, Adenta)
Office Administrator is responsible for maintaining the front office, answering phones, writing letters as well as inputting information into Quickbooks and receiving fund requests and receipts from staff. Accounting Student preferred.
Community Outreach 90 days (Tema New Town)
Environment360 will choose four (4) interns to create and embark upon a community education campaign to create awareness of the Pick-It Sorting Center in Tema New Town. Interns should be able to speak Ga and Twi, be able to work outside and be able to use Word to complete field reports. Volunteers must also have a cell phone that can take pictures of activities. Individuals with social science and community organizing backgrounds highly desired.
School Volunteers (Ongoing- Varied Programs and Locations)
Environment360 is seeking volunteers that can support with compost education, as well as recycling education. Volunteers should live in the areas they volunteer, be able to use Word to complete field reports and should be able to take photos and videos when applicable. Previous, demonstrated knowledge of composting or recycling preferred. Main areas of focus, Korle Gonno, Kaneshie, Mamprobi, Jamestown, Pig Farm.
Social Media Intern 6 months (Head Office, Adenta)
Are you a whiz with graphics and short videos? Know how to keep an audience engaged and want to enhance your skill set. Join our social media team to support spreading the message of green. Candidates with degrees in digital marketing/marketing preferred. We will teach you design and video! Must have your own laptop.
Photography (Ongoing, as needed)
Looking for someone with a keen eye to help us take great photos of our programs. Ideal for someone who needs to build their portfolio. Must be familiar with how to use a digital SLR or be the king/queen of iphone photos. Digital SLR provided, Iphone not.
